My guess is that it's a battery issue. There is a whole thread devoted to Phantom Battery issues and premature landing.

Would love to see how you mounted the VTX inside. Is it the 600mw? Do you have any issues with heat from the VTX?

They should still enable the tilt gain control for the upgraded controllers so that you can adjust the maximum speed (sensitivity) of the wheel. Also, It kind of sucks that you don't know which orientation the gimbal is pointing as the wheel returns to center. Is there a way to change that...
