I'm confused too! All seems to work well (not fly yet) The problem is that when I upgraded to latest version the process ended with the steady Red gimbal light and the continous beep (that normally indicate the failure of the process)

I've tried both methods, with and without .bin file in the sd card, but also redownloading the firmware and putting it in a freshly formatted sd card didn't start the upgrading process, my drone starts normally but without upgrading

Yes in dji go app all seems fine, no errors detected, but I don't know why the upgrade process ended with the Red light...

It makes the loud sound when it starts, but not the beeping of the upgrade,because it is not doing the upgrade..

Ah ok sorry, No it doesn't even restart the upgrade procedure because it Says that I'm already on latest firmware (Even if there is the latest firmware .bin in the sd card it boots normally without starting to upgrade)

Yes tablet was connected to wifi before and after the upgrade... Now I have : Drone v 1.9.60 Transmitter v 1.6.0 Dji go 2.8.1

No... Only that the current version match the previous one and the upgrade is not necessary..
