When I registered my Phantom with the FAA to fly recreational, they made me agree to fly below 400 feet. It was a check box I had to mark to continue.

Where do you get they recommend 500 feet? If you register your drone you must agree to fly below 400. This page says you must fly safely, and lists the safety guidelines, which say under 400 Fly for Fun P3A with Nvidia Shield K1 tablet

Update, my android firewall app I have doesn't start soon enough at boot and for some ******* reason dji go starts at boot seconds before, and still connects to my Wi-Fi. Only solution is to have Wi-Fi of before I turn tablet off, so that it's not turned back on until my firewall app starts...

The problem with this is they are very directional. If you aren't pointed directly at the bird, you get worse signal than if you didn't have them. I tested this and can be 3 feet away and if I turn to the side 45 degrees, I get "no signal" Not a problem if you have good line of sight, and keep...
