I'm here in Bangkok filming the political protests with a stock Phantom 1 and GoPro 3 (no gimbal). Over the past week, I've accidentally slammed the Phantom into a concrete wall and through a set of powerlines (video coming up).
But what happened yesterday took the cake.. in mid-flight I saw...
I'm here in Bangkok and there was a street musician on the ground level. I was on an elevated platform and was too lazy to walk down to give the guy money.
So... I attached a 20 baht (60 cents) note with some gaffers tape to the bottom of the Phantom and flew it down to him...
He's on my ignore list.... every forum has "that guy" and he's it.
The guy certainly has issues, but is probably just your run of the mill keyboard warrior.
It was very light... head and shoulders were styrofoam and the fabric as very thin.
I hollowed out some of the foam to save weight.
