Totally flawed logic. In fact you can test this yourself. You just get a smaller file in 265 not better quality.

I exchanged the unit and got a new one and it's the same thing. It seems all phantoms behave like this when shooting at high shutter speed. I force it down to 1/60 now and it seems to be fine. Can you confirm if this is expected behaviour?

yes -3 contrast, DLog, +2EV. Under those settings, the highlights are slightly better when the contrast is added back in post.

That's not my what I find in my tests. I just went and shot some indoor tests with 0 all the way down to -3. I find that with -3 you get a bit more details in the highlights. The shadows are about the same. So I think it's worth shooting -3, I don't see anything lost with -3, so why not take a...
