    Video Editing

Yep, DJI Go app is a very basic but probably one of the best solutions for you to start getting familiar with video editing. Openshot might be also quite intuitive for you, it reminds of Movie Maker a lot. For more advanced-level tools, here is a list of the ones available for free.

    Video editing

Resolve is a great video editor but it's very demanding when it comes to PC resources. I'd recommend VSDC cause it works smoothly even of Windows 7 with about 2-4 GB RAM. Here is the review. For some very basic tasks like splitting a video into parts, Avidemux should also work for you, as...

What’s a good program for editing videos

Davinci is outstanding but also requires quite a powerful machine which now everyone may have. Here is a list of free video editors for Windows 10 - half of them work on Mac too though. So if you don't like iMovie for some reason, there is also Openshot, Shotcut and few others.

What OS are you on, and how powerful is your computer? If you're a beginner, and you're on Mac, iMovie is your best bet - and it's free.

For Windows 7, VSDC is a pretty stable and free option. (Just press "continue" button in case the program offers you to upgrade to Pro at the export) For Windows 10, here is a list of free video editors. It really depends on your goals and experience. For just cutting and splicing, Avidemux is...

My bad! I got totally confused, and you're right - Movie Maker is unavailable for Windows 10. In this case, I'd recommend trying ShotCut, because among many options, it's one of the most intuitive and basic. (and Free)

Hey there! I'd say, if you are a newbie and never edited videos before, you should start with Movie Maker. Most definitely you have it pre-installed on your PC, and if not - simply download it from Windows store. It's easy. For simple cutting and adding music to your video, MovieMaker will be...

    Free video editing

Davinci is actually great indeed, especially if you're into color grading. The problem with this software is that it requires a powerful PC, so if don't have one - expect crashes. And yes, it's absolutely free. They have a paid version as well, but's more for high-level professionals. I doubt...

Hm, I think you should probably start with basic linear video editing software. Movie Maker will do, actually. Have you checked it out?

Thank you all for contributing! I've been gathering information from several communities and YouTubers working with drone footage - now I will be working on the material. Hey guys, I'm working on an article about video editing software used by DJI drone owners. I hope it's not too bold to ask for a little bit of contribution here. I'm trying to understand, what parameters are the most important when choosing video editing software, and if there is anything...
