Well, I replaced the ribbon cable; no way of telling if it was an OEM cable. Took me a long time reading over and over online instructions, making pictures along the way. Just finished, powered it up and now the gimble goes crazy like moving around while before it would not move at all...

Thanks Chris.....I willl try replacing the ribbon cable and probably the two Ant wires first. Hope that works...buying the camera/gimbal assembly they say is half the cost of the whole Phantom with camera.

I am new at asking for help so tell me if I am doing this wrong. My Phantom 3 Standard has always flown and responded to all commands flawlessly until this minor crash. The camera will not move when powering drone but shows what it is looking at and takes pictures of same. Yard arm is not...

The battery on the right (top) labeled "Phantom" came with my P3. One on left was.bought as a DJI battery. Are both legitamite DJI batteries?

This is off the thread subject and if not approprriate to ask...just ignore. With the camera off the Drone; the drone starts up, flys fine with both sticks and shuts down but I do not have a lot of the other controls such as automatic take off and a lot of the readings such as "ready for...

There are no screws holding on the doors. You can see where I tried to pry one open with needle nost plyers and a tiny screw driver. Looks like I'll have to do something more drastic with care.

I'll try needle nose pliers to remove the doors....did not want to do damage trying to remove them where the wires go.

I see the doors, one for each wire. I tried to remove them but was afraid to force...is there a prescribed technique to remove them...maybe I am over-cautious but do not want to damage anything. Thanks so much for your prompt response.
