I consider private property to be respected, even though the airspace about it is not "private". While technically legal, seems to be to further advance the use of sUAS when we can create good will and not piss someone off by insisting we "have our rights", legal or otherwise.

Anyone know of issues for using permanent ink markers in various colors to add decor and visibility to the aircraft? I use it for marking my FAA registration and aircraft identification on my P4P, but I am sure the little I've used so far has virtually no performance concerns whatsoever. Dave

Ed, was not thinking about when it took off, was more about when it flew into the tree and could have lost GPS if under tree cover at that time.

Just like ham radios among my ham radio buddies, if it suits your fancy and pocketbook, go for all you can afford, even when you can only use one at a time (I have several radios on at once). If for commercial use, nice to have any kind of backup.
