I'm putting up two of this guys in my front fence... Things are as easy as long as you follow basic common sense, if you see one posted somewhere just stay away, even if you have see someone riding horses or walking a dog, just because you saw someone that is not indication that its ok to go in...
I'm not planning on enter a debate about society, media and behavior... On my definition racial and cultural intolerance, and any form of xenophobia fit perfect on the dangerous zone.
I don't feel that academic level it's a determinant factor, while it influences the ability to be open to adopt different trends on social, cultural and technological areas I know as personal experience some "older" people (60-80) that are on the middle/upper class level and that have academic...
Old people tend to be more crazy about it, they didn't have anything better to do and probably were watching all day news about drones delivering drugs or some crap like that and just pick on the very first one they saw!
My old neighbors go crazy by the simple fact that i cut a tree on my front...
I got bite by a propeller trying to save my FC40 from tipping forward... Nothing as bad as yours but it sting like a Bch for the whole day!
I tell my kids to stay far away from the drone until the propellers are done spinning for at least 30 seconds and the control is on the floor... When you...
Let's stop beating a dead horse here gentleman... The truth it's that the "intelligent" power management firmware have some flaws and sometimes will not perform as it should be, on the older FC40 and some other quads small low voltage alarm modules can be installed and will avoid the dangers of...
1.- The algorithms used for calculation of battery capacity (as percentage of charge at the moment) are not perfect, and the firmware will return data that is erroneous rendering low voltage failsafes useless.
2.- We should never assume that a reading of the current status of the battery its...
I have a quick question, did you do the battery calibration on the P3 as you do with the older FC40?
--> ups... I mean adjustments on the voltage settings under Naza software.
To me it's just common sense to have the battery pack fully charged before any flight... I do it on all my devices, from the videocamera that I keep on my hand bag to the pack that I use on my HF portable transceiver, and while the batteries are intelligent that only means that it can monitor...
Take me about a year to decide to buy the drone... And really was lucky shoot that while browsing eBay I end up finding my FC40 at excellent price... Now I'm tempted to get a small one on the 250 category for speed!
If i get another drone for video or picture I will get a P3 without doubt...
I don't see why not use it to learn the art of flying, just be cautious!
The main problem its the self confidence that a couple of good takeoffs and landings can give you, and if you watch videos of the drone doing super high altitude flyovers on cities and in lakes that can get you to believe...
More than a request for help to find the drone or understand what happened sounds more like ad for him and his knowledge of law, the only details about the incident are that he "was not filming, and using DJI Go w/ iPhone"...
Maybe i should suggest paper flyers on the neighborhood as a more...
While I don't own a P3, for the pics I can tell you that the fist thing that I will do it's to get rid of the gold bars and make some of red and silver reflective tape... I see that as giving personality and uniqueness to the drones!
