If you do decide to expand in working on my 107 now and have gotten a decent bit of flight time with the 81 p3p and mavic pro. Eventually I want to have a business down here. I've been doing solo flights so far. I'll eventually pick up another remote for the 81.
The grease shouldn't be between the pins. It should be coating the pins themselves and the inside of the connectors. To have it spread over everything you're not doing things right. It's to prevent corrosion after all. So if it has huh resistance and it coats the surface of the pin and inside...
I think you're backwards. You'd want 0 resistance so that the electrical signals wouldn't get reduced and you want it to be conductive so the signal passes through the grease.
Thanks guys it was just one of those things that came to mind not just because of the area I'm in but I also saw a phantom fire sale for parts due to corrosion supposedly so I was just trying to be proactive. And thanks for dawg I didn't know they made a mil spec with 0 resistance I might look...
Working 50+ hours a week delivering gives me a lot of time to think about things. My current train of thought is about where I live. I live on the coast near the ocean. Knowing the effects of salt water on metal and thinking I'll probably want to do some missions over the bay or off the coast, I...

Ok well I went ahead and popped the bird apart and the discovery is actually interesting. It would appear the gps units are actually different in some way. The"new" gps showed no registered satellites and the satellite icon was grey. I'm finishing up putting the old one in now but I took a pic...
The other issue is that DJI has made it near impossible to service a drone. ESC fails? Main board needs replaced. Main board cost is prohibitive therefore you're stuck either spending more than its with or buying a new drone. The phantom 2 was the last of the semi easily serviced crafts. With...
