Took it over the fields, did a compass calibration. Flew it for about 5 minutes all seems okay, fingers crossed.

Flown in 20 mph winds before no issue and it really isn't in GPS mode, aslong as you are not planning a distance flight.

Yeah going to stop calibrating every flight, I only do as usually always in a new spot. But will head to the fields near mine, calibrate and leave alone unless asked for.

Just watching videos, I've seen a lot of conflicting information throughout many videos I've watched. Alot refer to the Advanced only filming in 1080, when it films in 2.7k? Also have heard the max distance is 1.2, when its' not?

Realistically 400 ft is pretty high and you shouldn't face issues unless you're in the mountains or something? I have my RTH set to 400ft incase of anything.

I actually didn't know that. So would the mavic, p4p only get 2 miles? I was playing with settings indoors and when I put 500m in the max altitude I got a warning message but it referred to the USA/FAA in that?

So you take off and go to 400ft. Fly it a mile or whatever down the road, a big 350ft hill with 70ft hills for example. It wouldn't be possible to continue climbing up the hill and being 400ft above the hill?

Why are the figures different for usa vs UK. I am Kent mate. Are all the DJIs like that in the UK or?
