Naw- was talking about the GPS orientation, to make sure it really is pointing where it should and to some degree of accuracy. Curious if there's some number that gives some inclination of where it's pointing.
Though in terms of gains, I think my current frame is lighter than the FC40, and i'm...
Now, is there a way to really fine-tune it, say-- in NAZA assistant; some sort of value output that you can verify? Eyeballing it seems sort of hard to really detect minute changes.
Sorry for late reply- so the alignment of the GPS disc, or the compass module?
Finally got another day to play around with it, and turned the GPS disc-- seemed to have some kinda effect, but i couldn't really be too sure of how finely i needed to turn it. Looking at how i did the print, the...
Hi all!
Have had my FC40 for a while but it recently met with a tree at high speeds, which absolutely devastated the body and two of the motors.
So playing around, i've 3D printed a frame based on an F450 and put all of my internals into it. It's came out looking pretty cool, but when I fly...
Google Maps here. Fly to a location then use the MEASURE feature. Not exactly accurate, but then again, nothing is fully accurate! Just need a general rule of thumb.
Hey all,
Curious what the max "safe" range is on the controller (variable conditions such as trees and obstructions, not the very most that has been measured in a wide open field!). I've heard to keep it within 500m LOS but it seems i've pushed it further out than that. I'm also wondering if...
Using a Boscam RC802 2.4ghz / TS321 setup, and the SMA connectors seem smaller than standard. Bought some Bluebeam antennas but the connector seems huge. Does anyone know if these units use a different size connector / using an SMA female to RP-SMA male adapter work?
Hey all,
Just got my Bluebeam Omnidirectional antennas to put on my FC40 and hit a bit of a snag. Sadly, the connector is too small on the receiver and transmitter, are male center- which is what the antennas are. The antennas look to be a standard SMA size, which is what i was afraid of when...
On the topic of Voltage limits- that's one avenue i was thinking about, perhaps a wrong calibration? Though the gimbal controller also reports low voltages as well. I think I have mine set to something like 10.7 for Level 1, and 10.4 for Level 2.
Hi All,
I've been modding an FC40. Already have P2 props on it, and recently put a chinese 2D gimbal on it with a GoPro Hero 3 along with a Boscam 2.4ghz transmitter. With my stock battery, i'm getting around 5 1/2 minutes of flight time and similar results with a 2800mah battery. When I first...
