Hi, I had exactly the same problem with my note2, eventually after many trials, I turned off the mobile network data ,just leaving the wifi on, and hey presto! perfect.I went flying today and the phone would'nt bind,you guessed it,the mobile data was on( it's my default setting) turned it off...

My galaxy note 2, won't connect if I leave the mobile data active,which I do by default as well as wifi, I have to turn off the mobile data then phone connects by it's self most times,occasionally i have to select "phantom" from the network list.

Thanks,thats quite impressive, I omly have 2 batteries for my v2,so I can easily take 2 trips out (4 flights ) then charge the wifi module.
