The 4k controller actually has a smaller battery than this one, and it's voltage is 7.2 volts. The battery case is the same size, but its filled with foam so the smaller battery won't slide around.
That's exactly what mine was doing, see my solution in a separate thread. Also if you notice, you will still have the Phantom wifi connection on your phone, when the RC won't power up and that small led is on inside.
Since doing this mod a few days ago, I've had to flick the switch twice already. It does the trick, but what could the real problem be? Surely there must be lots of 4K controllers that work just fine. What causes some of them to act this way?
