This seems rather strange considering all the varying responses we've had from DJI...
Anyone that has a vision plus that is less than a year old i suggest you request a full refund. This is unacceptable behavior from the biggest drone supplier and makes the product not fit for purpose.
I don't know about the rest of the world but in the UK I think we are entitled to a refund.
I've had exactly the same problem, almost caused the loss of my P2V+. I've heard that if you upgrade all your firmware that it can sort the problem out, I'm going to try it myself today.
Does anyone know where we stand on consumer rights with this? I have an £800 quadcopter that has no way of flying, surely this is not fit for purpose and dji should either fix it immediately or start offering refunds.

I recently bought a new iPhone 6S and have just taken it out to try with my P2V+. It took off fine, flew infront of me at about 150ft then all hell broke loose. It went off on its own at about a 10 o'clock direction at what looked like more that full speed. I thought it was a gonner...
