yes... noise is a bummer for sure... but i guess this sensor can only do so much. would the X3 or X5 handle it better? i would assume so... but enough to warrant an few thousand dollars more? ... and i really don't want to start flying a giant rig with an A7 or something. oh well... all things...

A little noisy... but that's expected. Sharp in the middle of the sensor, but soft on the edges. Is this normal? All manual settings, ISO 324, .3 seconds, 6500K. not super evident in this lo-res version of the image... but the full res definitely noticeable.

yes... always knew they were buoys... just couldn't figure out why they were surrounded by a red pixel. they are there for UT rowing crew for lane markers...
thanks for the feedback everyone.... it was only in the one image. after further testing, just seems to be a limitation of the sensor at resolving fine detail from far away... not a huge deal. went back up and shot the images again and the red square pixels were gone the next time. overall, very...
are these spots just a limitation of the sensor on the P4? overall... it's working well... but there are these spots. the shot of austin was done in manual, AEB, RAW.
Defective? or normal? anyone? tried DNG cleaner... same result.
