OK, maybe only the latest Beta, but the long wait is over :)
At least I get a chance to try it

Yes it does, you need to enable OSD over HDMI and adjust the OSD top and bottom height positions,
and thats it.
Last update now displays metric or imperial correctly over HDMI :-)
HyperThin World's Thinnest & most flexible HDMI cable Mini (0.8m Black)
I bought one of these from the US
Cost about £18 delivered to the UK, and about 5 days to arrive :)
Works a treat :)

Re: Phantom2 and Lightbridge, what is the simplest Transmitt
Yes the 8FG is supported and works fine, image from the Galaxy Tab S looks amazing,
going out to test fly soon, will let you know how it goes.
Pyro,
Could I ask what MHL converter you purchased ?
I now have the Galaxy Tab S, and the Zeiss Cinemizers, was sort
of hoping not having to power it, as the Genuine Samsung MHL 2.0
mentions it is not needed on later equipment.
Thanks, Dave
Re: Phantom2 and Lightbridge, what is the simplest Transmitt
Well, I treated myself to Lightbridge today :)
I already had a Futaba 8FG, similar to the 14SG, and was using it before
with the profile mentioned. Reversing channels either within the Futaba TX
or in the Phantom assistant is quite...
Glad you received it OK :)
If Shapeways is a ripoff
Then I am quite happy to print and send International, if members want, but I will need to check International postage
for different countries, fortunately is does not weigh that much if packed in a small box. :)

Import costs to the UK work out at £164.08
Based on $1306 for Tali 500
$64 for shipping DHL
$10 for insurance (it made me enter something on the calculator)
This should be £984.48
Add to this
G-3D from Ebay £123.74
iLook + from Ebay £119.00
Total cost £1227.22
The only UK price I have seen...
Yes, I notched that earlier, $1306 without the iLook+ camera and 3D Gimbal
The extra for these would cost $593 I believe, to make $1899
What I do not understand is the iLook + as a separate item is $199
and the G-3D Gimbal is $169, this adds up to $368
Am I missing something ?

My Zeiss Cinemizer goggles arrived earlier today from Lufthansa :)
Exactly a week to arrive in the UK, the shipping notification arrived about
2 hours after the glasses were delivered, so beware, they do not let you know
in time to be at home.
Not had a chance to get out for a fly, but first...
I had a look at a Galaxy Tab S on Saturday, and asked the question about what connector
would be needed. He said it would require a MHL connector and a HDMI lead, but the MHL would
need to be powered.
After a little research at home, I think a MHL 2.0 connector would be the version, and on...
Many thanks, it is a great alternative design for the otherwise PITA clamp that comes with it :)
And a extra plus, your version is no where near that ribbon cable :D
Quite happy to print any for UK members (if OK with Falcon20cne)
Just also making a little sorbothane rubber fitting to cover where the lens sits,
for a bit of extra protection.
Will need to find out about postage etc
