I flew my drone up above the sea mist this evening. The mist had come in with the tide as I live a few hundred metres from the beach. Once I was up through the mist I was able to get this shot of the sunset and our local big hill Black Combe.

Hi shadow. No I threw that by hand and then walked away from it and then sent the dog back for it. It tests it's memory of where it was

Well my first flights are done. Was so easy compared to my Syma X8C. It was a dream to fly. Both batteries drained to around 40%. Video is up in the photo/video section

I've been flying a Syma X8c for a few weeks now and finally bought a P3S. Wow. What a machine. This is the footage of my first flight attempt, a flyover of my rugby club

Wouldn't the easiest way to be to put the hook and bait in a dissolvable PVA bag hanging from a line attached to the landing gear of the drone and then lower it into the water and let it dissolve, dropping the bait and enabling you to fly up without worrying about a mechanical release mechanism...

I'll maybe do a short flight with each battery then reading that. Hopefully away!!

Drone arrived last night. Batteries and controller are now charged, just need to connect it all up to the app tonight and register it before I set off on my first flight
