The WiFi will not normally have an internet connection and this is okay as it is not needed to fly the AC. You should also disable other Wifi equipment nearby and make sure there is no other interference that can affect the Quad.

Hi Glen, You should not expect Obstacle Avoidance to stop your AC crashing into thin poles or tree branches. It is only there as an added measure and is not failsafe. The best thing to do is continue with your P3S and keep away from obstacles then maybe when you have more experience, upgrade to...

Hi, My first AC was the trusty FC40. I loved it! As for the camera, you need to select the FC40 WiFi on your list of available networks on your mobile device.

You have to tap to focus on the P4P.

The Pixel XL is not supported by DJI, see this link. If you look at post #9, there is workaround! Pixel 2 and DJI Go App

It should give you a message in the DJI Go app if it is non genuine. I would check the contacts, both on the battery and the AC.

Is it a genuine DJI battery?

The eBay page has been copied and pasted from another site. My own opinion is that it will be a scam as it is less than half price. The seller purports to be an authorised dealer but a quick check on DJI dispels this claim.

I would consider looking on eBay for a cheap controller and battery charger. Who knows, the owner might still be trying to sell the stuff he was left with after he lost his AC in your friend's tree!

As the FC referred to the camera rather than the AC, I would hazard a guess at "Flying Camera" This was my first DJI product too and within a week, I had modified it with a GoPro Hero 4 and gimbal. It cut the flight time down to about 10 minutes!
