    I uninstalled the dji go4 app and reinstalled it from the play store and after an AC update everything is working correctly now. Thank you all for the help. Mike

    Yes it will start up and fly within sight distance ( which is like beginning mode) I will try again tomorrow. Thank you all for the advice.
