I've only got one antenna it's the phantom standard 3, and I don't want to open it what if I brake it lol

Does anyone no why I'm only getting gps signal on the app when I hold the antenna then as soon as I let go it goes of and loses signal

I've got a p3s and I updated it to 2.8.0 and now it want con ectopic when I go outside but works fine a bit when I'm inside but soon as I go outside it looses signal altogether well peed of with it. Anyone having this problem or no of it??
