Hey all,
With much thought I have decided to sell my as new DJI Phantom 2 Vision + (plus). Basically I am hardly using it for aerial footage now so may as well let someone else enjoy it :)
Has tippled over once or twice on start-up/landing, never been crashed - fly's perfectly, just as new...
I had in mind you were thinking of sale water park ;)

I was flying it with my P1 before the no fly zone was implemented :)
Where abouts are you filming the water skiing? I've done that one and it was the most challenging flying I have ever done. Nerves of steal required depending on how close to the action (water) you want to get.
I already had the motor cross in mind as well after seeing some promo videos showing...
Exactly. There is a video on this forum I think with a 1.3ghz setup and be flies all the way down his street, through a park and into a flood drain thing. That was impressive range/penetration!
I don't see much talk about this on this forum though. Let us know what more you find out.

I too am struggling to get over 5 sats before take off. Is the Phantoms requirments of 6 minimum sats a lot higher than say satnavs?
I know smart phones don't just rely on sats but also use wifi and cell data so we can't compare smart devices to our Phantoms.
I'm sure I recall my old satnav...
Out of interest why do you want to fly so far?
My basic understanding of the 1.3ghz frequency is the penetration advantage. I have 5.8 and if I fly behind a tree at 50metres away I'll get static and most likely loose all video.
With 1.3 I am hoping for a much better outcome in the same...
You beat me to it pault, didn't notice you had posted while I was typing away on my phone :)
Should be talking about it in 5/10mins
