I was at James Island County Park campground over this past weekend. I didn't take my P3 advanced unfortunately. We're going back in the spring and would like to take it with me then. Do you know if it's OK to fly there? Looked like some great locations to fly, especially out over the marsh...
One of my neighbors about 1000 ft away threatened to shoot mine down if I flew over his property again. I had flown over the backside of his property which is on the community pond on the way out and then back in. I was just buzzing around my house after I returned when he pulled up and yelled...
I ran into this exact scenario yesterday afternoon. Was coming home from a late meeting around 7:30 pm and there was a beautiful sunset building. Only problem was that I had 3 batteries sitting at around 60% so no way to get them charged up in time to get in the air to get some photos. Would be...
Basically have the same thing going on with one of my batteries. I also tried the discharge / recharge thing and it made no difference either. Uploaded flight log to Healthy Drones and it shows major deviations on cell one for an entire 8 minute flight. The voltage reading was flashing between...
I actually had to delete and reinstall the app on my Air 2 to even get it to connect after updating. When I checked to see if I still had the 32 channels, they were not there. I just redid the process to make them active and all good to go again.
I unknowingly stepped onto a small fire ant mound in my yard back in the summer. Luckily I wasn't too far out so I just had to let my P3A hover while I ripped off my shoes and got the ants off my feet and ankles. That was interesting.
I'm still getting the crazy and wildly inaccurate altitude readings after the latest update. The update itself went uneventful on both my P3A and the controller. The app shows that everything is on newest versions. I did advanced IMU calibration after letting it sit on an AC vent for 1/2 hour...
I had this same thing going on yesterday afternoon. I just updated the app on Friday. I had two test flights that afternoon that I kept it close in and everything seemed OK. Yesterday, I got the "poor signal" message. I went ahead and flew, but the only difference with me is that I couldn't get...
I'm still on 1.1.9 right now. If I decide to try this would I need to load 1.2.7 first and then go to 1.2.8? I think I would at least need to use 1.2.7 to update the controller, correct?
