If you go into miniosd assistance software with the miniosd connected to your computer of course, there is an option to make the overlay smaller so it can fit in your screen.
Are you using the fpv hub to connect everything? That is what I am using. Didn't want to have to open and solder...
At the top right of the Phantom 2 Assistance Menu you'll see the button "Phantom". Click on that with your Phantom connected and it will go into "Naza" Mode. You will then see those options you're seeking.
hope that helps
I am in the need of a gimbal as well. I want a decent one but I'm not willing to spend over $250. I don't work for the movies or National Geographical. ;-)
Absolutely a brilliant idea! Maybe you can add a local comment section as well. Nevertheless great idea. I've already submitted a couple.
I even went ahead and made a donation. :-)
I have a similar setup. That transmitter weighs in at about 60g. I purchased a carbon fiber transmitter attachment on Ebay that holds my transmitter with a velcro stap right below the heat sink fan.
I am still getting 8 minutes or more on my flight time.
I was wondering if any of you have lowered your first and second voltage protection to get longer flight time? What would be the lowest that can be recommended without causing damage to the battery?
I had a Fatshark Predator which I recently sold. Replaced it with a Boscam 500mw and a 7" lcd monitor that attaches to my Futaba t8j. I'd much prefer flying with a monitor than goggles. I just feel more comfortable flying this way and it's easier to let others view fpv.
Sorry about the confusion. So if I use the auxiliary wires, can I just connect it directly to the tx and then my Gopro cable from the tx to the Gopro or do I need to connect the aux to a voltage regulator, then to the tx?
New member here. I recently purchased a 600mw 5.8 transmitter to use with my Gopro Hero 3. Using the balance lead from my Phantom's battery, is it absolutely necessary to use a power filter? I just want to make sure I don't damage my Gopro.
