I received the same pop-up msg today with my P4 but no update was required yet. For the record, it does not say you must be "Connected to the internet" It says you must be "connected and logged into the DJI Go 4 app" I don't understand why so many people are losing their minds over this stuff.

I had range issues with mine too, mostly operator error and inexperience. Added a set of these today and had great success.

$50 a year for $1,000 of coverage through State Farm here in Connecticut. Hope I never need it. Oh, and I don't have auto insurance through them either.

There are a LOT of heliports. I concern myself with airports. Those heliports, especially those on Route 7, don't have points of contact.

Any of the Norwalk City parks should be fine. I have flown at Roton Field on Highland Ave and the park down by the Rowayton Library. Veterans Park in SoNo is a BIG open field and you should be good there too. Just stay away from the beaches, lol
