Anyone using ImmersionRC FPV operating in Copenhagen or Amsterdam? I'm traveling with my Black Pearl and immersion 5.8 transmitter. Suddenly I'm getting nothing on the receiver. Nothing crashed, nothing changed, just static. When transmitter is powered up I'm getting a change in the static, but...
Essentially, I only need the metal shield of the Immersion 25 mW transmitter, so if you have a non-working transmitter or just have sitting around, I could use it. I don't want to buy a transmitter when all I need is the tin shield which has the model and power output on it.
Well this is a future case of someone recklessly operating the aircraft and giving the community another black eye. <sigh>
This seems like a throw-away account of a troll. I don't think someone is so ignorant to do this and then go to a forum and admit it.
Don't feed the trolls.
Garmin is no longer making the GTU 10, so the $99 price is long gone. Many places are listing whatever is remaining for $180+ with the cheapest I've seen after a search something like $165.

I just installed my Tarot and it works well. You need an adapter plate to attach it to the Phantom. I have an extra I'll sell $12 shipped. Right after I ordered that simple plate, I found another that was more long to which the FPV transmitter could be attached (hence the extra).
Putting it...
Another reason to point out the main rule, never talk to the police. If they talk to you, don't answer questions. They are not there to help you, only use anything you say to try to find something by which they can cite or arrest you. They cannot determine intent if you don't answer any questions.
"DJI logo on top should be readable as you're facing the front (or back) of the craft."
Remember the GPS is suppose to be oriented in a particular direction. The DJI logo should be visible when looking from the rear (the LED light facing you). The red bands (or the grooves if you never put on...
Google uses a veriety of sources [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Google_Earth#Image_providers] with much of it indeed satellite imagery. Often satellite imagery will be used to a certain altitude view and, if available, it will switch to aerial imagery.
