Anyone know if the body on the phantom 1 could be replaced with the phantom 2 vision body? I figure this would allow the added space for an upgraded battery. Seems the two are similar enough that this might work - just need to swap all the parts over. Body is out of stock where I would buy...

Hate digging up old topics, but this seemed like a good place to ask. How did you travel with the phantom? I'm just planning on bringing it in a back pack and protecting it with some clothes around it - battery will be inside. I have a spare too that I was going to put in a case as well...

What I do that works well is not rotate the phantom if I can't tell what direction its facing. Just use the right stick to move it forward, back, left and right. If I do rotate to change the camera shot, I will then just move in a direction to re-orient which way its pointing.

If you enjoy flying your copter, please stay away from populated areas or more importantly, areas where people being distracted could cause an issue. It's stuff like this that is going to cause more regulations to appear and impact us all.
