I as well am a software developer and find this both interesting and shocking. If the allegations are true, I feel duped, even though I was able to fly my furthest FPV with the latest app. :) I must say that I'm still glad to have contributed money to the people who first made this app...

New personal best with 100% stock aircraft and 100% stock controller in a heavy wifi congested area of Orlando, FL: 3657 feet.

Just tested out the new app. In a wifi congested area that I used to only be able to fly about 2100 feet, I was now able to fly 2900 feet, but then it was the TRANSMITTER signal that was lost, not the wifi video signal (btw, I only flew it to a height of 250 feet). I'd call that a pretty huge...

The comment section for that article is the most anti-"drone" I've seen in a long time. I always laugh when I see people say they'll just shoot their firearm in the air, at the quadcopters, with no consequence of where their bullet/pellets might come down - and also, as if there isn't a law...

The only thing extra I know is that a representative of the Cowboys said they would be giving him his phantom back. I haven't heard/seen anything since. I as well kept up with his channel on YouTube, when it was there.
