    Just went online and bought a cheap Hubsan to learn learn to fly better with. I have to get my flying in soon, as in Minnesota it will get VERYcold soon. Although some winter picture could be very beautiful.

    Thank you all..I will find a more open are and fly in ATTI mode. I got a little cocky I guess. I am fine fly in I the forward piston but when I turn the thing towards me I keep forgetting the controls or the opposite..I need to practice. I am just glad I didn't damage my new friend

    So..just like the start up? You are saying do not turn off rotors by holding the left stick in down position...why?

    had a very minor mishap.. About 6 ft off the ground, go to close to a tree and started to munch some leaves and went down. The only question is...the bird did not turn off. I could hear it still spinning. I turned off the remote and ran to the bird to turn it off. No damage..a little mud on...
