I find USB charging better than P3P/P3A because you can do it simultaneously with the flight battery. Use a hi-wattage charger like your iPad charger to get the job done faster.
I had an ESC Status error post crash which motors were impossibly trying to turn while on the ground. The only remedy is board replacement ($399 if P3P, retail price. Some selling around $299 if you get lucky). I suspect the P3S will have this same issue. My suggestion is to shut motors...
Emailed my dealer and DJI for support. In my opinion, my crash is what everyone fears: an uncontrollable drop from the sky for unknown reason.

Flight #64, I am at 400' flying straight and level, then suddenly it falls out of the sky. Result? Cracked body, ESC error. Camera still works (had a gimbal guard). Questions for the group:
1. Why did this happen?
2. After shell replacement, what can be done to clear the ESC error...
