I have never had a problem flying in the 90s or low 100s. But just to be safe I don't keep it flying for more than 15 minutes so that it doesn't get too hot. I use an iphone 6s plus, and it's never failed on me in the heat.
For me they usually flag my bag (a phantom backpack) and pull me over to the side. All they do is swab it then send me on my way. I've never had any problems with my batteries or remote control. It's always terrifying while flying with it though, in case they make you check it under the airplane...
I'm heading off to Hong Kong in a few days with my phantom 4 and I'm planning on going to a few of the islands, some hills and monuments, and the general cities. I know from experience that it's tough to take off in cities usually given the amount of people around so if anyone knows of anywhere...
