For clarification - after step 4, does the WiFi symbol appear at the top of the iPone screen to indicate a WiFi connection to the PV2+ was established? In the first window of the Vision app on startup does it indicate a WiFi connection to the Phantom was established?

You may be confused with the "Ground Station" name. "iPad Ground Station" is a DJI product which has both additional hardware and the software that runs on an iPad. Check out the DJI web site for details about the "iPad Ground Station" product. It requires an iPad and doesn't run on iPhones...

I'm also using DashWare version 1.6.2 under Win 8.1 using the VMWare Fusion emulator on an iMac. Rather convoluted, but I find DashWare has a large selection of attractive flight gauges for overlaying on flight videos. It is fairly easy to modify supplied gauges, or create new gauges as needed...
