My P4P cracked on two of the arms right by where the air intake slit is, and only on the undershell. It was sent to DJI and has been there for 3 months. They are now claiming it was in a crash.

Yes, good to know you can see it that far away. Night flights, though Transport Canada seems to think are more dangerous actually have the potential to be MUCH safer.
You can see lights against a black backdrop MUCH better, and if you are able to use colored lighting and perhaps flashing lights...
I don’t see how this is a bad thing in any way shape or form. Promoting safety is what the industry needs. It’s a proactive move by DJI to provide this. I’m sure if you failed you would have to take the test again until you passed it... makes sense to me
I never use a hood and have pretty much always used either an iPhone 6 or iPhone 7. Next year I’m building in some redundancy and purchasing an iPad with some power and good brightness. Gotta stick with the iOS - too vested at this point
