Problem solved. Someone posted in another forum the same issue. The answer was to pull both levers down to start motors.

It is brand new and never flown and motors won't start. I powered on the remote with throttle down 1st. Then I connected battery to phantom. I have watched most all of Colin Guinns preflight tutorials. For my 1st flight all I wanted to do is hover, but no can do.
