I chose the P4 over the Mavic for a couple of reasons. I like using an iPad instead of a small monitor. It's always a bit breezy in this Texas Hill country and because the P4 is heavier I believe it handles better in the wind. The portability of the Mavic is a nice feature if you travel often...

Isn't the tile only good for about 100'? iPhone to drone?

The first P4 I received with the controller only blinked up to 3 lights. I tried charging overnight and it could only charge up to 62 %. I had to return it for another one that worked correctly. LJM

GOT IT! I unplugged my iPad cord from the iPad and the RC and plugged it back in and it worked.

I've read the other threads about this subject and cannot figure out why my P4 is not connecting to my iPad. I'm a rookie at this but have flown it 22 times before with no problems like this. After I turn on the drone the red light on the RC changes to green. The drone rear lights are flashing...

I'm new to drones and not very computer savvy. I wish there was more information for people like me to get started. So far, everything I've seen reads like you're already pretty knowledgeable about editing. I wish someone can put out a "editing for dummies" type of video.
