Thanks for the information. I use Adobe Lightroom so I think it will merge as many images as I want. I did not know if merging a higher number of images (i.e. overlapping by 50% vs. overlapping by 20%) would yield a better quality image for large format printing. Thanks for the info on the...
I came to this hobby from an RC flying background rather than a photography background and have been learning a lot lately. I've taken some photos that I'm very happy with, but now have questions about capturing larger images. I used Lightroom and have merged three photos horizontally, but is...
Nope. It broke e landing legs in two places and also sheared the camera and gimbal completely off. The gimbal guard was still attached. I'm sure there are situations where it would be helpful, but I always take off from level surfaces and I hand catch most landings. I think the guard may help if...
When practicing I recommend you find a nice open outdoor area and bring your aircraft to a hover of around 6' off the ground. Hovering at 1' as you indicated will create "ground effect" or as some call it "prop wash". This is the disturbed air from your propellers hitting the ground and...
I used one, crashed, and have not used it on my new Phantom. I may upset some people, but I actually think they cause more potential harm than they do good. The carbon fiber is WAY harder than the plastic landing gear. Add the zip ties and you've now made your landing gear (legs) much stiffer...
I agree, using the original iPad and iPad mini will not provide adequate performance for DJI GO. I personally fly with the iPad Air 2 and have had no issues. Great tablet and works flawlessly with the GO. It's the statement that Apple has discontinued iPads that will be confusing the people.
So the "iPad Air 2" or "iPad mini 4" is not an iPad? I understand what you're saying but why not just use wording that everyone can easily follow? I'm typing this on an iPad Air 2 currently, and when I flip it over it simply states "iPad" on the back. No other nomenclature. So yes, I think apple...
He's being slick with his wording. Apple sells iPads. They sell various models of iPads, but none are called simple "iPad" any longer. They are now "iPad Air 2" as an example.
If your aircraft came with new motors, and they sent you the old style, send them back and put the proper motors in. You cannot safely interchange the two styles without also upgrading the electronic speed controllers (ESC) which are attached to the main center board.
