Hmm. The release notes say "Fixed issue of Phantom Vision+ gimbal and H3-3D gimbal shaking involuntarily when powering on." Perhaps you'll be prompted to update when connecting to the assistant software.

I'm with you. I had mine shortly after launch and I've had it up in the air once for about 10 minutes. A busy work schedule has a little bit to do with that as well, but I am nervous about flying. I had a Phantom v1 before this with a Hero 3 on board and was never this cautious. My issues...

He wasn't specific, but perhaps he means if you're looking at the camera, it is slanted 45 degrees as it would sit when not powered on and having removed the gimbal lock (not tilted down on axis).

I started with the 1.0.38 app and was unable to tilt. Since I was under the gun and didn't have time to find a .39 apk, I updated to .40 and it resolved my problem. Using a Moto X
