Had a crash after I was stuck in prop wash descending (before the firmware update controlled how quickly it would allow you to). Long story short it fell straight down on the camera and rendered it all dead and broken. Ive since rigged up a new gimbal and FPV for my go pro and went to test it...

Ok - So good news, The P2V main board has the CAN bus connector, Bad news, i discovered why the camera really wasn't working, i guess it could have been worse, but either way not ideal!!!! Last question i think i have is, does the iosd mini connector plug straight into the main board ...

Ok - Changed the gains... Id say things are about 90% better I started reducing in 10% increments and found that 90% was too low, and stuck at 95% for the final figure. The hovering became erratic and couldn't hold a position at 90%. 95% seemed to remove most of the issue, still not perfect...

ok - going through the list - Props - i havent tried a different set, but i did rotate the props to see if maybe it changed at all if the were reversed, but no significant change. Short Circuit - possibly a fault, but i would be comfortable at saying its maybe 95% not the problem, the short...

Public now - it randomly decided to make it private. Not sure what it weighs in at, don't have scales sensitive enough:-(

Hey guys, Two part topic - Ive managed to get all the gimbal and camera mounted and was fitting/adjusting the extension lead for the camera with one of these PART 1: Because it was awkward when i went to adjust it, i plugged the new extension in the camera first and joined the stock cable...

Woo Hoo - So far so good, managed to get it pretty much balanced, just waiting for an extension lead for the cable and then should be right to go. Ive soldered the power in and put it all back together. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0DDzR5My8dw

Before i go "recommending" this gimbal i need to make sure i can get it to balance ok, so far it looks like its going to be pretty tedious.

Yup - it's too short, I've changed it through the body to get some length back, but the cable also interferes with the balance!

ok - so I'm just very roughly testing out the P2V camera back on to the gimbal but this is going to be tough!!! the P2V camera is much heavier than the GoPro, so the centre of gravity is going to be a tough one
