I'm not sure I understand... what would be a "designated wilderness area"? More specifically I'm looking to fly in the Hiawatha National Forest later this month in Michigan USA

There were a TON of people at Grand Haven's firework show and I almost decided not to fly at all. However, I found an open takeoff spot and flew only over the channel area where there were no boats and people. Still managed to get a few good shots!
