In regards to my earlier questions about 3rd party batteries and the Phavic -- not recommended. I got a Lumsing battery for mine, and it's useless. As long as I fly very carefully, all is fine, but as soon as I punch the throttle or go forward too fast -- the app throws a "battery signal error"...
Ah, I see. No ESC errors on bootup is strange. But if I were you, I'd try redoing the solder on all three non-working motors. Try to do them as similarly as the one that works.
Well, short answer is that the solder points aren't right. More specifically, the Phantom ESCs are very picky about resistance. You either have too much or too little solder on those points, or you didn't cut the cables short enough. The latter thing might not matter though, as one motor works.
Not a bad price at all! Those are genuine so no issues is almost a given. I'd definitely order a couple of those but they seem to be out of stock...
Now I'm looking at getting one of these but just wondering if anyone has any experiences with 3rd party ones. My Phavic needs more airtime lol
This is a bit off topic, but does anyone have any experience with third party batteries? All the threads I'm looking at go on about losing warranty, but since none of us clearly worry about that anymore (due to the nature of the Phavic mod, lol) can you guys recommend any cheap batteries?
