Thanks Paul, those laws look almost exactly the same as here, so that's great. Looks like I need to pack the Phantom on my next trip to Scotland! Interestingly, it looks as though you can fly over people's houses, as long as you are 50 metres high? We can't do that here, which seems very odd.

Welcome from across the Tasman. I would strongly recommend don't land - hand catch. In other words, bring the drone so it is hovering in front of you. Grab one of the landing legs, and then throttle right down to stop the motors. Give it a go on dry land - it's much easier than it sounds...
