So soldered.... Now to test.. After lockdown[emoji17]

So after trying to increase my distance with antenna and amps I still couldn't get more than 300m in an open field so taking the plunge to do the chip fix.. So far opened it up now to "practice" my soldering before trying to fix.

New upgrade hopefully now I can get to more than a 1000m...last upgrade got me to 600m

I see you were getting some Magnetic Field Interference...do you know what caused that .....that might have being the cause of the P3S to go into ATTI MODE

MP only works with the 2.4G (video)...not 5.8G (control)...so the video link is FCC and control CE..but the windsurfer sometimes helps with the control signal...the P3S activates the RTH on loss of 5.8G (control) signal after 3 seconds

As far as I understand it you should be able to use the S2 switch to activate RTH

If you remove the Amps ...is it any better or the same ..... automatic RTH only works if u lose 5.8 ghz signal (control signal) it does not RTH on the loss of 2.4 signal (video)

btw at what distance do you get RTH

are you 100% sure the amp is working ...did you test that the correct voltage is reaching the amp

this is a tip from Solentlife.....One tip : If you fit extension leads for screwing on antenna ... make sure you have enough thread outside the controller case or antenna bar mount. The antenna must screw down fully to the extension connector ... plastic cases tend to be a little too thick. I...
