This is basically how UF does it. Otherwise UF would have the same limit as Litchi. I move up .5m if panorama needs more actions (and points). UF does the calculation so you don't need to.

The firmware blocks points if they are at the same location, they need to be separated by .5m. What you suggest can work, just change each point's altitude .5m. I only mention this because it's unclear if your instruction says you need to change altitude.

You can wear your own glasses with them and/or have prescription inserts created for them.

If you haven't tried them, the Epson Moverio BT-300 is a awesome piece of hardware for FPV goggle.

If you use DJI Ultimate Flight you can set the option to pause and take photos at each waypoint. You can also tell the aircraft to rotate and take photos in case you want to have multiple photo orientations at each waypoint. And did I mention UF is less expensive and part of each purchase...
