90% of crashes i see are people trying to use RTH. its a risky maneuver and i wouldn't recommend ever trying to engage it into RTH again. thats DJI for you, products that work...... sometimes

i do both. usually ground launch unless its snowy or something.
once you do it a few times its really fast and more efficient to hand catch. hand catching has its risks but i still feel its less risky then trying to land it level and risk tipping it over and breaking a prop. take it to like 8 ft...

Your FPV will more then likely never work. The main issue I see is the frequencies.
Controller for P2 uses 2.4 and FPV is 5.8
