1. Well sure, you have the power to arrest even when you don't have the right. Disorderly and Disturbing the Peace have elements to those crimes. If those elements aren't present, you don't have justification to arrest.
2. Those acts must take place in your presence or you need a warrant...
Under what authority would the police remove a citizen who is simply expressing their opinion to you in a public place.
If you are going to use legal words, you need to know what they mean and in what context.
Fine, call the police. That's probably a reasonable step. But when you start...
Because what you referred to as assault is assault in the traditional common law usage that retains some measure of validity in terms of a civil suit. But on the criminal side, the part the police care about, not so much. Furthermore, without evidence, the police are unlikely to make an arrest...
Only you can decide. Will you notice a difference in image quality? I would, but others wouldn't. Would you rather have the cash in your pocket or the better camera? That's the question.
FWIW, although I spent the extra to get a 4 advanced over a standard 4, I probably would not upgrade if I...
Sort of right, but mostly wrong. Unless you are planning a civil suit and don't care about damages. And are willing to pay thousands of dollars to accomplish nothing of measurable value.
It seems the consensus is that there isn't anything like the 1 over focal length rule for drone photography. Of course, even with cameras that rule is less accurate than it used to be due to IS advancements (though still a good starting point).
I will say that when image quality is paramount...
Unless you are referring to gain as adjusting the sensitivity, that's not how I understand it. But I am on the fringe of my competency on the subject, so I will defer.
Also, the concept of ISO isn't really applicable to digital cameras, except as a convenient mental shortcut.
Sort of. In large part, you've described the concept for which it is useful to think of as ISO. Unlike film, digital sensors don't have adjustable sensitivity. But the processing engine...
FOV definitely makes several differences. But 4mm difference in focal length isn't going to appreciably better or worse for aerial or landscape photography, IMHO.
I have lenses costing more than a current phantom that breathe way more than 4mm. Occasionally annoying at most.
