    3G GPS tracker RF-v42

Hi The V42 I have may have a very sensitive receiver. I can get an accurate Location, even with the tracker upside down in my pocket. (sometimes all this while indoors) I suppose each make of tracker is different. - I have not had any real Location issues in normal usage. The tracker produces...

    3G GPS tracker RF-v42

My V42 works very well - also the location accuracy is good and usually spot on if my update frequency is short (all configurable remotely) Try the following: Set the interval for uploading to 30s (precise Location) then leave it for around 3-5 mins in clear location to receive Sat Lock (i.e...

    Favorite GPS tracker for DJI?

I am now playing/experimenting with the RF-V42, which is the 3G WCDMA version. The RF-V16, as far as I am aware is 2G only.. I used the V16 for a while until 2G telco support was dropped in Australia, which rendered the V16 2G device obsolete. The V42 is a slight bit larger then the V16, but...

    3G GPS tracker RF-v42

Nice Link - explains WCDMA, which is what we (In Australia) need to look out for. I have not yet attached the tracker to my Phantom - The tracker comes with a holder/belt clip. I was planning to stick the holder with some strong all weather scotch double tape to the Phantom, but the V42 pops...

    3G GPS tracker RF-v42

There is an option in the app to put 30 seconds, 10 minutes or 60 Min. I have tried 30 sec and it gets the "Real Time" location lock in the app fairly accurately and quickly, however the battery gets used a lot faster - lasts about a day. (rather then around 2 if updating 10 min.) Using the app...

    3G GPS tracker RF-v42

Hi. - hope you all had a Good Easter.......Now to answer a few questions...., I got the B version - 900/2100Mhz - mainly because 900/2100 Mhz 3G support on either 900 or 2100Mhz frequency is provided by the 3 main Telcos in Australia (Telstra, Optus & Vodaphone) see website: Australian Phone...

    3G GPS tracker RF-v42

Just received the RF-V42 yesterday and have been trying it out. It is slightly bigger then the v16 although not too big for it to be a problem to attach to a P3 or P4. In Australia, Telstra (biggest telco) has shut down 2G and Optus (2nd largest Telco) is in the process of shutting down thus...

Gimbal Protectors - Do you use one?

Ken, that's what I'm thinking. In case of a crash, I don't mind replacing $20 legs to save a $600 camera and gimbal.

Gimbal Protectors - Do you use one?

Litz that's a fair point you make. Just wondering if using it without the ties as suggested by bluer101 above may help. When you crashed did the protector "save" the camera/gimbal?
