This guy deserves the criticism he is getting.
He is flying over other people's property with a camera equipped drone (there is absolutely no reason to expect them to assume that the drone is benign) which then crash lands in a street – a street – used by bicycles, motorcycles and automobiles...
It seems there are two Nexus 7 models. The original and the newer 2013 model.
Do the original, older Nexus 7s work OK? They are still available and are cheaper and I will only use it with my Phantom Vision.
I already wasted $180.00 on a Samsung tablet that I will donate to the Salvation Army...
I have the same problem with my Galaxy3.
Because of the weather it's been a while since my last flight, but if I recall correctly, if I let the Phantom hover and play back a video that I have just recorded, the Galaxy3 displays it with no problems.
This makes the problem even more confusing...
Here is how I mounted my Galaxy Tab 3.
Short piece of 1X2 with quarter round tacked to the two long edges.
Attach to tablet with sticky back velcro.
The curve of the quarter round fits the curve of the clamp almost perfectly.
