4-5mins into my flights the gimbal loses control and resets to default (un-powered like) position. very annoying

I had a similar issue. It turned out to be (or what I think) the firmware. Are you running 4.00?

v4.00 firmware fixed my upgrade board "no GPS" issue and my gimbal control. I love it! I still have 1 issue though... after about 3-4mins of flight, my gimbal control drops out, resetting itself to the powered down default position. Only way to fix it is to land, unplug the battery, re-power it...

Amended. Latest firmware (4.00) fixed my GCU and GPS firmware issue on the upgrade board. Success!

I have encountered similar problems with the upgrade board. My findings are as follows... -Both 3.14 and 3.16 firmware versions are giving me strange Hardware ID's and Firmware versions for the GPS/GCU -Probably as a result of the bung firmware, GPS (from the link on the upgrade board) is not...

I work around many servers and systems in my warehouse so maybe that is the case. When I get a chance I'll take a laptop outside and do another calibration. also, I am running v3.12 Still no reply from DJI currently.

Yeah same result in ATTI mode... and no unusual warmth from any of the motors :/ I have raised my issue with DJI and they have yet to respond.

Just did another advanced calibration in Nazam and still a dodgy result. Replaced all 4 propellers, set transmitter to GPS/HL, freshly charged battery, another manual GPS calibration. Just cant figure out this sway on take off >< Youtube video of my recent attempt...

Problem is I am Demoing these units in a small office space and want to keep 110% control of it. Im looking to maintain a simple up/down throttle motion only. :/
