Too windy to fly today, but I fired up the P4 in Litchy.
Constraints for the LRTimelapse hyperlapse settings I want to do seem to be as follows:
Litchi DOES supports timelapse intervals starting with 1 second apart, but this does not seem to work for a Phantom4, where the lowest interval I...
Worried about that too... Here is what it says on the Litchi site though: "General camera settings as well as shooting modes (Single/Burst3-5-7/Timelapse/HDR/AEB/Timer) can be adjusted after a tap on the camera settings icon under the shutter/record button." I think you have to be connected to...
If Litchi turns out to be no good for this, I wonder if a waypoint mission in DJI GO would work while doing time lapse shots. Since I'm only looking to fly a short distance. Will have to experiment on this.

Thanks John! I will play with the Litchi course settings, but actually will be playing with individual camera raw frame sequences instead of shooting video, as I'm using LRTimelapse software, will post a report here when done.

Very cool, thanks for sharing, love the transitions! Sorry you don't like Hyperlapse, however this is the technique I'd like to figure out, and I do have commercial assignments (non real estate) for it.

Is anyone doing hyperlapse time lapses using Litchi or autoflight logic?
I am wondering if you could share images, suggestions or settings?
I would like to plan a route of only a few yards during a 15 minute flight, while recording a time lapse. What's the best way to do this?
Sort of like...
Check out the Drone U. They have a great free podcast with daily episodes, are all about commercial applications and the business side as well as the flight skills side of things. Also a great membership community with courses to get licensed, it's how I got my part 107 license... I started my...
I relate to this! Buttery smooth video is my holy grail as well. For one thing I've been spending a ton of time learning and practicing to fly ATTI mode, and more often than not find myself using this as the results with Litchi and Autoflightlogic are not as smooth and harder to set up. PS a...
This FIXED strange behaviors plus horizon issue: Follow up on my earlier post regarding strange flight behavior. I uninstalled the app. (Be sure to sync your flight history before doing this). Reinstalled the app, re-synced my flight history. Go out to field, level takeoff surface... Turn on...
I hear the folks that say there is no explanation for app updates influencing flight behavior. But I've had a series of bizarre flight experiences after upgrading, the hover used to be rock solid and is now jinky in 10mph wind, drifting 2-3 ft to all sides, in spite of solid GPS... Flying...
Makes sense, for me it's not a matter of replacing, but a both and... if you have a use for the scenarios the Mavic is good at. Personally for my work an Inspire would be more appropriate as the next step for commercial work.
I was thinking the same regarding controller and Go App software features, firmware will be able to address some of this... But the OcuSync could have proprietary hardware/chips driving it, personally I would not expect that to trickle down to the Phantom series...
Still, excited to see this...
