Yeah...Comcast and AT&T come to mind.
There are plenty of heartless American companies also, so I don’t think it can be attributed to their race, culture, or nationality.
No warranty..no free repair. That’s kinda how warranties work. What would make you think that you are entitled to free repairs outside of the warranty period?
Avoid contact with the water and you'll be fine.
Any adjustments you may decide to make while you approach/leave the water are just more likely to result in a mishap.
